Well the judgement day has come, i received my letter for our performance base on last year appraisal.It obviously i never asked for more as i know reality speaks.I'm not the popular guy around,sorry you are not the "man". Come to my surprised it was not up to my expectation.i only hit 3.0% percent for my yearly increment compare to before,talk about bonus i received 1.2 month.I believe all this come from GOD,people say "rezeki jangan di tolak". As i was driving to work, i was thinking of my subordinate who didn't received any compare to me.Sad to say some really need those extra for their commitment in life like taking care of their parent hospital bills,engagement and also getting married.
I talked to my team and say to them, next year going to be different ball game,beside productivity, i want them to zoom into MC,EL and super critical is their commitment level.At times productivity people can bullshit by claiming thing they never did,MC and EL you managed them by good planning ahead, but one area no one can question your commitment as you are the want who control the destiny! Sad to say people over look in giving rewards to this individual who at times work hard, not calculative in claiming OT as at times they willing to work free for you as they have sense of belonging to the business.So this measurement i believe works during critical periods as when they are tons of work come suddenly and when you need them to stay and finished the job no one bother to commit accepts this individuals who really care for you and your department.
So i believed we can make the different, make people realised how to excel and be satisfied of their contributions does make a lot of impact in the long term. I hope this year being a person who will eveluate 80++ staff i will not miss out every single contribution to make me look good in the eyes of the management. If you people feel you are damn good such only an individual, hei my friends i can produced whole lot of them, just being fair,positive and forgiven.
